*taking photos of my Mom's Christmas decorations (I'm pretty sure that angel is older than I am!)

*using up the Divine Vanilla Cookie hand soap (But that's OK. I found more!)

*finding a seriously cool quote by John Piper ("If there is any deep longing in your heart for a consolation and comfort that this world cannot satisfy, it is because God is preparing you to recognize and receive this gift: Jesus Christ, the Consolation of Israel. Don't seek it anywhere but in Him.") I wrote it out wrong, but decided to just leave it. Typos are who I am. ;-)

*traveling to my sister's house (VERY foggy!)

*carefully peeling labels off presents (My mom's are so funny they've become legendary!)

Christmas Eve!! How did we get HERE already?? =D

Interesting stories for Day 24...which finds me...

*braving a last-minute grocery store run (Where I find another shopper's list wadded up in the grocery cart. I totally couldn't help myself--I grabbed it as I put the cart in the cart corral thing. The last few items on her list were: "tomatoes, red onions, cucumber, fresh parsley, gloves (bathroom), fresh jalapeno (2)." OH MY GOSH, this woman's making SALSA. FROM SCRATCH. I want to go to her house for Christmas!!!! LOL!!)

*taking funky heart-shaped light photos of my tree (So much fun playing with a digital camera!!)

*watching "It's a Wonderful Life" on TV (This is the very first time I've ever seen it. Yeah, I totally cried at the end.)

*writing down the absolute best quote from the movie...at least for me! ("You know what the three most exciting sounds in the world are? Anchor chains, plane motors and train whistles." ~George Bailey)

*dealing with the rain (We had to move our neighborhood luminary event to New Year's Eve. Kinda bummed about that. It's so pretty driving through the 'hood seeing all the roads lit up in the darkness. Ah well. We totally needed the rain!)

Sundays are always a bit quiet around here. Worship in the morning, naps in the afternoon. So I didn't have much to photograph. ;-)

I think it's just a bit funny how the letters on the top of the page came out. Totally should have moved those over, but I am LOVING how the hook of the letter T holds up the flame from the candle. *snicker* Goofy, but I laughed when I realized it was going to work out that way! =D


Happy Christmas Eve to you! Looks like our weather is not going to cooperate with the calendar. :-( Rain, rain and more rain for us. Good for staying inside, drinking hot cocoa, and celebrating the TRUE reason for the season!

Day 22 of Ali Edwards' December Daily. I can't believe we're almost done! I've so SO enjoyed visiting other crafters' pages. I've seen a LOT of wonderful ideas I'm totally going to steal for next year! ;-)

Day 22 finds me...

*dealing with feathers and food :O

*finding a pile of Mourning Dove feathers in the backyard (Apparently a resident hawk had breakfast. Ewwww.)

*receiving food from friends (Haystacks and chocolate-covered-peanut butter-and-Ritz crackers. YUM.)

*eating pizza cuz it's Saturday night

*running out of Laughing Cow cheese (THE HORRORS.)

*finishing up the Christmas wrapping (That's the little snowman paper in the pocket just below the Laughing Cow's head.)


I used a bit of Picket Fence Distress Stain behind the letters on the top left. It really does look way cooler in real life. ;-)

Funny story for today.

Good thing this arrived because it was a rather boring day. Did you really want to see a photo of me balancing the checkbook? Yeah, I think not. ;-)


So Day 21 finds me...

*receiving Christmas cards from friends

*receiving a Tony Stewart (NASCAR driver) silicon bracelet (My best friend and I share a love of NASCAR and for a funny Christmas gift, she sent me the bracelet. Gotta love goofy friends!!)

*using the envelope the card came in as a pocket for hidden journaling (Just flip up the photo and the journal card is inside! I found that idea on another Dec Daily-er's site. Ingenious, no?)


And just a few more days left of this December Daily adventure. I'm planning on continuing through the end of the month and then on Jan 1 I'll go back to my regular daily journal. Are you stopping on Dec 25th or continuing to the 31st?

And an update on the White Christmas Probability....yesterday Intellicast had us at a 33% chance of snow. Today it's down to 1%.

SO sad.

Looks like we're getting a boatload of rain instead.

Day 18 finds me...

Cindy over at Serious Play used a super clever idea on her Dec Daily page--adhere a photo over a piece of cardstock folded to resemble a card. Then she journaled inside the card. Perfect, no?? Doesn't take up any more space than the photo itself and you can write personal, secret stuff in it.

I totally smacked myself in the head on that one. Like...why did I not ever think to do that before?? It's so simple, it's ingenious!! =D

So that's what the Dasani water label is on. The journaling inside is about feeling crappy that morning. Not really what I wanted to slap all over the page, but that's how my day went and I wanted to document that.

Also, yes, I know LIGHTZ is spelled incorrectly, but I ran out of the letter S and I really REALLY wanted to use my silver shiny Thickers letters.

Plus, who does NOT have a plethora of Z letter stickers, am I right?? =D

In my defense, I'm not feeling so hot this morning, thus everything--and I do mean EVERYTHING--on this page is slightly crooked!! How do these things happen??? It looks straight when I adhere it!! =D LOL!

Anywho. I saw another Dec Daily page over on Ali Edwards' site that listed Seasonal Favorites.

So cool.

And since Monday is laundry day, and I'm tired of taking photos of the dryer in action, I went with the Seasonal Favorites theme!

*eating the last of the Claxton's Fruit Cake (Make all the jokes you want to about Fruit Cake. I love the stuff. I crave Claxton's in July and cannot WAIT for December!!)

Finally! Something Christmasy to share! =D

My church choir presented its Christmas Cantata so I took a few snaps...you know...trying not to look like a geek or something! ;-)

The Cantata is entitled "And on Earth Peace" which was really appropriate not only for this time of year but also because of the events in Connecticut. Perfect.

I made a pocket for the program and adhered the photos in front of it. The brown star is from another project, but I thought it looked super cool there.


So...Day 16 finds me...

Yes, the highlight of every Saturday evening is pizza at our house! The Papa John's delivery guys love us!! ;-)

The other story was a conversation my Mom and I had on our way back from our local scrapbook store, which was having a 30-35% off store-wide sale! They have the new Distress Stains. WOOT!! ;-)

So the conversation went like this (that's what's on the little tag on the left):

Me: (Noting a dead opossum on the side of the road.) Hey, dinner!!
Mom: I'm not really in the mood for 'possum.
Me: Whoa, it's 2:48!
Mom: 'Possum for $2.48?? That's expensive roadkill!!
Me: *groan*

Heh.


So Day 15 finds me...

I struggled with this page.

For many reasons.

All I did yesterday was housework and cooking.

And watch the news online about the horrific shootings in Connecticut.

I honestly did NOT want to put anything sad or negative in my December Daily.

But then again, I felt like I should write SOMETHING about the events of the day.

In the end, I only took one photo anyway--a beautiful pink-red sunset.

I tucked a short note behind the photo, attached to the doily. No names, just numbers and places.

It's there. If I want to remember.

The highlight of my day was...wait for it...working out on the treadmill.

Seriously.

It wasn't that I didn't do stuff. But really, it was all boring. Like mopping the floor and taking out the garbage boring.

That odd little white rectangle is my journaling card. The lighting was bad this morning--we haven't seen the sun in 3 days! :O

And I sprinkled more of those tiny silver stars around--the ones I found while hiking this past week.

The "chores" word is actually silver Thickers letters. It's very festive in real life! ;-)

*heading to my sister's family's church for a Christmas program (It was kind of a family affair--my BIL directs and plays trumpet in the orchestra, my nephew plays trumpet in the orchestra, my sister plays flute and saxophone in the orchestra, and my youngest niece sings in the children's choir--under protest!)

*taking so many photos that I needed another two pages =D


The pics on the left are of my sister's church--inside and outside--and a on-the-fly shot of the downtown decorations.

The photo on the right side is an inadvertent bokeh shot of the town's Main Street decorations. Darn cool, even if I wasn't trying for that effect!! =D

On the backside of the bokeh photo are shots from our travels down the highway to my sister's town. I'll spare you the boring photos! ;-)

*picking up the luminary bags (Our whole neighborhood puts the little white bags out with candles inside them. It's so cool to drive around, seeing all the lights on Christmas Eve lining the roads!)

December Daily Day 7

Still keeping up with December Daily, a la Ali Edwards.

I've found a creative rhythm to the process. I take the photos and get the stuff together on the day the events occur. I print the photos at the end of the day and let them dry overnight, then put the page together in the morning and blog it. It works very nicely that way and I'm not rushed at any time. =D It also gives me time to think about the layout and the embellishments too. I can change things in the morning before I blog the day if I need to.

So...Day 7 finds me...

*still dealing with cold, gray skies (The top photo--much better than yesterday's!)

*documenting the Currents (I do this every month on the 7th, 14th and 27th.)

*enjoying (perhaps a little TOO much!) a newly discovered webcam in Duluth harbor, Minnesota (The webmaster recently installed a live cam with sound so we can hear the boats come into the harbor. So cool. I can waste HUGE amounts of time watching the boats coming and going!!)

*feeding the birds (Thus the bird feather taped in there with a bit of washi tape.)

And yes, Friday was a bit boring. Heh, heh. ;-)

December Daily Day 6

Here's Day 6 of my take on Ali Edwards' December Daily project.

Day 6 finds me...

*having a quiet day, not much going on

*getting leftover bits of housework done

*spending the day finishing up my new Advent Journal (bottom photo)

*having taco salads for dinner

*taking a photo to document the cold, gray day we had only to find that it was too late in the day and thus too dark for a photo...hence the large black rectangle (If you look really REALLY closely you can see the tree outlines. sigh. It was pretty cool on my camera.)



I followed Cindy's instructions for my Advent Journal...find that here. I used an old German textbook, ripped out enough pages to get the desired number of pages doubled. (I needed 24 days for Advent, so I left 48 pages in the book.) Sewed two pages together for strength, adhered the Scripture verse for the day on the left side and my notes on the right. Came out so cool! I totally want to make more of them! =D

*heading to Walmart for groceries (Cuz it's Monday.)

Now, seriously. Who thinks to themselves...I would like to go hiking today. Where are my tiny little silver stars?? =O

I spent quite a bit of time picking up what seems like a lifetime star supply thinking they would look AWESOME in my Dec Daily album. But if I ever run out....I know where to find more! ;-)

December Daily Day 1

And so it begins...

December Daily, Day 1

So today's big story was the missing Baby Jesus. My Mom was putting the Christmas lights on the bushes outside. (See how happy she is with that job???) I was putting up her nativity set inside. But I couldn't for the life of me find the Baby Jesus.

Now...you just CANNOT have a nativity scene without Jesus, can you??

So we went on a chase. I looked under stuff and in stuff and around stuff. No Baby Jesus.

My Mom was looking in the storage room where all the Christmas decorations are kept and just happened to move the vacuum cleaner.

And there was Baby Jesus.

Under the vacuum cleaner.

It was horrible and probably sacrilegious and hysterically funny all at the same time! I'm sure there's some sort of deep spiritual lesson God was trying to teach us with that. ;-)

So naturally, I had to document it with a photo. See the brown linoleum shot? That tiny wooden rectangle thing in the middle? That's the Baby Jesus.

He's currently hanging out with the angels, awaiting Christmas morning.

Safe and sound.

It's December first and you know what that means!! TIM TAG TIME!!! Woot woot!!

AND as if that weren't enough, Tim gave us TWO tags! He skipped January and is now "paying" us back! Awesome!!! =D

I'm super happy with the left one--those Metallic Distress Stains rock my world!!

The one on the right....meh. It has its good things (that background is so cool and the poinsettia came out awesome) and its bad things ( I don't have ANY charms, dang it!!) I ended up using jingle bells.....maybe after I think about it for a while I'll MacGyver something up!!

Hanging of the Greens

I always love that Sunday at church, usually the first Sunday of Advent, when all the "greens" would be hung--all the wreaths, the swags, the garlands, the trees would be placed around the sanctuary for Christmas.

So here's my nod to the traditional hanging of the greens. I'm not totally loving this card...I think I would make the wreath larger next time, but I like the rustic vibe going on.

I die cut two pinked circles--one within the other to create a wreath. I dusted it lightly with Picket Fence Distress Stain then brushed the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

I punched the bow and dusted it with Picket Fence too. Then I dusted the edges of the whole card with Picket Fence.

Finally I stamped the sentiment.

Super easy, but it's kind of cute in a really ski lodge/log cabin kind of way. ;-)

The Sisters

Two variations of the same card today. I got the inspiration from this card by MeeMee which was posted on the Addicted to CAS challenge blog.

I began with kraft card blanks and stamped snowflakes in Frost White. Love that color!

Then I die cut the trees from sparkly paper.

For the snow drifts, I roughly tore white cardstock so there would be bends in the paper to give some texture. Finally I stamped the sentiment.

These came together super quick. I think they would be great for assembly-line-style construction.

I'll have a Blue Christmas....

I so love using Tim Holtz's Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for Christmas cards. I think it's the most icy, snowy color out there!

I stamped the snowflakes in Tumbled Glass, then die cut the rectangle. While it was still in the die I dusted Tumbled Glass over the shape, with the more intense color on the edges and less in the middle.

I dusted more Tumbled Glass on white cardstock then die cut the fancy Christmas tree.

Instant color match! =D

Finally I die cut the second Christmas tree--the plain shape--out of white cardstock.  I added a bit of glitter to the star and then stamped the sentiment and...there's another Christmas card under the old belt!!

Christmas Make Marathon!

I realized with a start this morning that this Saturday is DECEMBER FIRST! And I was so proud of myself for getting all my Thanksgiving cards done and mailed! Now I've got to do it all over again! ;-)

You know I love it, right?

And so begins my Christmas Make Marathon....

Today's card is super simple and quite elegant looking.

Punch three squares, cut six short strips, punch three ribbons, adhere three gems, stamp one sentiment.

Done.

I couldn't decide on the color for the sentiment, but in the end, I think the black looks quite sharp.

Leaf Polaroid

This is my final lost turkey.

On Saturday, I realized I was three turkeys short for my Thanksgiving cards. So I quickly made the cards. Wouldn't want anyone to go turkey-less for the Big Day, right??? =D

As I did for the other lost turkeys, I used a layout I had used earlier this month as inspiration.

Love this Polaroid look from Meghan's blog!

I die cut the square, die cut the leaf, and adhered everything! Stamp the sentiment and call it a day!

Here's the twin sister of yesterday's card. I made everything the same way, except I die cut the leaf from the embossed panel and then layered a different die cut leaf over the negative of the first leaf.

Got all that? =D

I really, really like this style and layout. I could totally see using a snowflake embossing folder and die cutting snowflakes--negative and positive images. Maybe in a gorgeous icy blue??

Short a Turkey

So when I got ready to mail off my Thanksgiving cards on Saturday, I realized I was three turkeys short! Oh no! So I quickly headed to the craft room and got creating!

This card was kind of inspired by several of the cards I've made in the past few weeks. The combination produced a card that is fun to make and super quick!

I ran a piece of white cardstock through an embossing folder, die cut the leaf and stamped a sentiment.

The white leaf--kind of a shadow thing going on there--was die cut from the card I'll post tomorrow.

CASEing Another CASology Card

I have found the cards linked up to the CASology challenges a veritable font of creativity, ripe for the copying.

Take this card for example. Cute. Awesome. Easy to make. You should totally go visit Meghan on her Little Pink Bike blog and see all her very cool creations.

And here is my take.

Die cut two Nestabilities squares, one inside the other, leaving a longer piece of cardstock on the bottom to resemble a Polaroid photo.

Adhere sparkly paper on the back.

Punch trees. Glitter them up. Adhere trees. Pop up front tree.

Stamp sentiment.

Adhere to card blank.

You're done!

I love Meghan's idea of a Polaroid-type card. SO cute!!! =D

Negative Christmas Tree

So...a funny thing happened on the way to this blog post....

I had seen this card roaming the internet and decided to (AS USUAL) shamelessly copy it. I actually took a picture of it with my phone so I could refer to it while in the craft room.

Good thing I did.

You know I always give credit where credit is due. So. Um. I forgot who made the card.

Oops.

I desperately pulled the photo up on my phone in an attempt to remember who made it or where I had seen it. And would ya believe it?? The creator's NAME is her watermark!

Another Turkey Day CASE

Yes, kind of like Thanksgiving leftovers. But without the calories.

Or the guilt! Heh. ;-)

This is the second card I made after getting angry at the first card I tried to make. (See yesterday's post.) I felt like I should not let those tiny adhesive dots defeat me.

So there, tiny adhesive dots!!

Taking inspiration from Rosemary's CASology card, I die cut the letters and used a glue pen to adhere them this time. Then I punched the apple and cut it to resemble a pumpkin.

I used a long piece of painters' blue tape to keep the letters all on one line and straight.

Sadly, the tape...although I was oh-so-careful removing it...tore off part of the card.

So while the tiny adhesive dots did not defeat me this time, the painters' blue tape did.

*sigh*

I'm sending it out anyway. Maybe the recipient won't notice! ;-)

CASology #19: THANKS

So, first off...Full Disclosure Time. For CASology #18 (ORANGE), I saw this card created by Rosemary.

SO CUTE.

I decided to shamelessly copy it...you know, as I so often do. However, I ran into a bit of a problem with the letters and to cover up my mistake, I did some funky stuff.

SO. This is no longer a shameless copy of Rosemary's awesome card and therefore I feel kind of OK in linking this card up to CASology #19 (THANKS).

(I'll be like that hot guy on the Old Spice commericals...)

See? Not exactly a copy. More like a source of inspiration. Yes?? =D

My problem was that I used a new (to me) product called Sticky Dots Die-Cut Adhesive by Therm O Web. The idea is you press your die cut onto the sheet, which is covered with tiny dots of adhesive, and then you just press the die cut onto your project to adhere it. Now, this worked fine for the pumpkin, not so good for the skinny letters.

I ended up with tiny adhesive dots on the edges of the letters, which would not come off no matter what I did. They became sticky and dirty and gummy.

And I was angry, so I just cut the whole strip off the card blank.

After some deep breathing exercises, I thought...you know...if I covered it with some thin tissue paper, it might be cool. So I did. I spread a bit of Multi-Medium over the card blank strip and pressed the tissue paper down, then used a bone folder to press the tissue paper around the letters.

Not bad!

So. Is my card too much of a shameless copy? I should do a poll.......

CASEing so I can't play along!

I saw this card over on Cindy's blog--Papers Pads and Pictures. And I decided that I definitely needed to shamelessly copy it.

Then I saw the challenge this week on Less Is More: House. PERFECT.

Well, sure. If I wasn't shamelessly copying somebody else's card, I could join right in, but alas. No copying allowed.  And, oh sure, if this wasn't a multi-layered card I could join in too!

That's OK.

I can play along in my mind. =D

I pretty much followed Cindy's instructions to the letter, using different stamps of course. So if you would like to shamelessly copy her card along with me, head on over to her blog! :-)

Even though it looks complicated, it really all came together rather quickly. Getting the score lines on the "door" was the most time-consuming, but that was pretty easy.

I stamped the wreath once on white cardstock in black ink, colored it in and cut it out, then stamped it again on the red so the swirls would show up.

When I make this one again, I'll move the windows up farther so the wreath doesn't look like it's dragging on the ground! ;-)

CASEing Kim's CASology Card

(Yeah, say THAT three times real fast!!)

So....way the heck back in October, CASology's Cue Word challenge was WILD. One card really caught my eye: Kim's over on her Joyful Creations blog.  (**When you check out her blog, look on the left side of the page for a chart that shows different ways to layer Stampin Up punches--very cool ideas there!**)

I loved the layout and the clean look of the card and knew I would get around to shamelessly copying it some day.

Today is the day.

I ran a piece of white cardstock part of the way through an embossing folder. Then I die cut more white cardstock and did that cool edge-embossing thing you can do with Nestabilities.

I stamped the leaves sort of lightly, to get a blurred kind of effect.

I scored a line below the embossing, stamped a sentiment then adhered everything to a white card blank.

I'm thinking this would be awesome for Christmas. Use a snowflake embossing folder...maybe even die cut the middle of that panel instead of adding another layer. WOW. The possibilities for this kind of layout are really endless!!

Oh Christmas Tree

At the rate I'm making Christmas cards, I should be done by the end of the month. You know, right before I SHOULD be sending out Thanksgiving cards....which are NO WHERE near done! LOL!!

My local scrap shop got in some new die cuts that I've gone crazy over: Dee's Distinctively. Here's just one example of how cool and really intricate they are.

This one's called Christmas Tree No. 2. It actually goes with a cone-shaped die cut so this one looks like garland around the cone. I like it open like this...but I might go back and get the cone one too. ;-)

These dies can be also used as a stencil or mask over the cone shape. Lots of cool options for your creativity!

Another cool thing is that Dee's Distinctively is based out of Canada and the dies are made here in the US.

Anyway. Enough pimping my new favorite die cuts! =D

I die cut the tree, glued it to a kraft card blank and then hit the berry shapes with Stickles.

I think this would be gorgeous if you used white cardstock for the tree and black or navy for the card blank. Hmmm. I wonder what would happen if I die cut two trees and layered them one face up and the other face down...hmmmm.......

CASology #18: ORANGE

I think I'm FINALLY beginning to catch up here. I'm only a day behind with challenges this week! ;-)

This card is for the CASology challenge--Cue Card: ORANGE.

I hope Rusty Hinge is good enough to be considered ORANGE. ;-)

This card is a riff off of another one of Susan Raihala's cards. Super simple design--love that. And easy to mass produce too!

I stamped the leaf, stamped it off on scratch paper, then stamped it on the card blank to make the leaves fade into the background.

Then I die cut the rectangles from orange and white cardstock and stamped the sentiment on the white piece.

I adhered them together and used pop dots on the larger piece to attach it to the card blank.

Easy! =D

LIM Week 92: PINK

I saw that Less Is More's challenge this week is to use the color (or colour) PINK! So I decided to use PINK to CASE one of Susan Raihala's cards I saw on her blog several weeks ago.

See, this is how I roll. I see a card. I like the card. It takes me like FOUR WEEKS to get around to actually MAKING the card.

*sigh*

But here it is.

In all its lovely PINK simplicity.

=D

Directions:
1. Stamp circle.
2. Die cut circle.
3. Stamp present.
4. Stamp Happy Birthday.
5. Stamp the present and the Happy Birthday like sixteen more times because they are super tiny stamps and almost impossible to line up correctly in that tiny punched circle and almost cuss because it probably would have been waaay the heck easier to use that StampaMaJig thing that just sits in the drawer for such occasions and in the end attach the circle crooked and just call it a day and wish you had a few bits of Halloween candy left over to make yourself feel a smidge better.
6. Post the card on your blog.

Tim's November Tag

It's November first and you know what that means...TIM TAG TIME!!!

Check here for Tim Holtz's step-by-step directions on his tag's techniques.

Here's my take! I stamped the wheat in VersaMark then covered it in clear embossing powder. Heated it.

Stamped the "gratitude" with Archival Ink so it wouldn't run when I spritzed the tag with water before coloring with various Distress Stains. Dried it, then I flicked water on the tag and dried it again to create a mottled effect.

Then, as per Tim, I ironed the embossing powder off the tag--such a cool COOL effect!!

I randomly stamped bits of a larger background stamp on the tag.

Added a bit of warm brown ink on the edges and then distressed the tag.

Colored some seam binding and string with more Distress Stains.

For the embellishment I cut a piece of (desperately forever-hoarded) burlap. I added a chipboard button and some leaves I cut from brown core'dinations paper. I sanded the leaves and distressed the edges with more brown ink before using glue dots to attach them.

Whew! I think that's all I did! As always...so much fun to create! I think that coolest part for me is going all MacGyer on these tags--seeing what I have that can be used as a substitute for what I don't have! =D

Nature Walking with Susan

Well, I wasn't *exactly* walking with Susan Raihala when I made this card. Susan was using the Stampin Up set called Nature Walk. I just copied her layout. =D

I'm not too sure about this one. I'm letting it sit out on my craft desk to see if it will grow on me.

I like Susan's card WAAAAAY better.

Super easy card to make though. You could also assembly-line these for a stack of cards. Christmas images would be so cute!

I stamped the leaves then the sentiment on white cardstock, cut them out and adhered them to an orange card blank.

Done and done.

I think my problem here is the images are just way too big for the card. If I used tiny ones, like Susan did, I think the card would be much cooler.

You know, cool like Susan's card. ;-)

CASology #17: Sugar

This week's CASology challenge is the Cue Word SUGAR.

When I think of sugar, I always (and immediately!) think of CUPCAKES. Plenty of sugar in cupcakes, right?? =D

After three attempts at the cupcake, I had almost given up when I decided to try one last time.

Turns out...fourth time's the charm! ;-)

I stamped the cupcake, colored it, then fussy cut it out.

Verrrrrrry carefully!

Then I die cut one small white Pinking Circle, one slightly larger pink Standard Circle, then a larger pink Pinking Circle.

(Ha ha! Pink Pinking Circle! That's just fun to say!!)

After I embossed each circle, I popped up the cupcake, adhered it to the white circle, then the middle circle, then popped that whole thing up on the largest pink circle.

Then I stamped the sentiment and called it a day!

Now I'm hungry, of course. ;-)

We managed to survive the far side of Hurricane Sandy here in SC. High winds, but no snow. Not even a bit of rain. The rest of the American East Coast didn't do as well.
