Yes, this is a Thinking Man's Card.
And yes, there's a story to the card. Heh.
A friend of mine got a new job working for an accountants' organization.
Get it?
New job = butterfly
Numbers = accountants
Is it a stretch??
Well, my friend liked it. She's kinda quirky so I think she got a kick out of the card. :-)
Super easy to make. One die cut butterfly sent through an embossing folder. One piece of designer paper distressed. One congrats stamp. And bunches and bunches and bunches of Distress Inks!
Supplies:
Paper: Bazzill (brown and cream cardstock); Tim Holtz (Lost and Found paper pad); Die Cuts With a View (green cardblank)
Inks: Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Antique Linen and Walnut Stain and then a bunch more Walnut Stain)
Stamps: Hot Off the Press (Mix Your Messages)
ETC: Cuttlebug (die cut and embossing folder); McGill (Word Tag Punch); Making Memories (paper distresser)
