CASEing Jen

Hurrah for Flickr behaving today!! ;-)

I saw this card over on Jen Nelson's blog The Tiny Blue Butterfly. She went the manly route, I went the girly route.

Super easy. (Do I say that a lot or what???!!)

Stamp the flower on patterned paper, then stamp again on a card blank. Fussy cut the patterned one and use Pop Dots to adhere.

Cut a banner shape, stamp the sentiment, then use more Pop Dots.

Done.

I purposefully adhered the banner off-center. Tell me what you think. Does it look edgy or weird? I can't decide, but I'm putting it in the mail anyway. ;-)

Supplies:
Paper: GinaK (white cardstock); Recollections (white card blank); snippets from somebody or other
Stamps: Stampabilities (Sketched Flower); Hero Arts (sentiment)
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Black Soot)
ETC: EK Success (3D Pop Dots)

Have a great weekend, everyone! And a happy Memorial Day too!

I like the banner off center. If it's intentional, you can't be accused of crooked. Beautiful paper pieced flower! I like your better!

I love off center- so it looks great to me! Great job photographing in the sun so that the shadows show the dimension so perfectly!

I love the banner all wack - of course I'm kinda wacky! Honestly, I think it gives it a little oompf while still staying balanced.

That flower looks stunning and I thought your banner looks great as it is .. .. nice and quirky!

Hope you have a good week.
