This is another piece of BoBunny paper. I used the same for the cover of the Dec Daily.

December Daily--Dec 5

Here is the rest of the Anna Griffin Christmas paper--the left edge is on the left side of the layout.

Because it's too narrow for my album chipboard, I used Walnut Stain Distress Ink to color the top and bottom of the chipboard. In real life, the edges fade into the background and have taken on the look of pressed wood or even concrete. It's very interesting and cool looking.

I stamped the number and that's all I did to this page.

I wanted a bit of cohesiveness and decided to use the same stamp set each day's number, placing the stamp in the exact (as much as possible) spot.

The edge paper is actually cut from the left side of a page from Anna Griffin's Christmas pad. The rest of the paper (you can kind of see it there) is on the right side of the layout. I found the pad (I think it's a 4x6 size) both too long and not wide enough for my album.

So I improvised!

I used another recurring cardstock color--more of a darker cranberry red than the Santa red I mostly used. It went better with the golds of the Anna Griffin paper.

I sprayed the cranberry paper with gold Smooch Spray to tie in the gold.

More music paper on the edge, which is carried over to the right side of the layout. The red holly paper is from an Anna Griffin Christmas pad.

I punched the tree from the same green cardstock I have used throughout the Dec Daily.

I used the same green cardstock as the left side and I added three Tim Holtz grunge stars, colored with Mustard Seed Distress Ink.

Paper is from My Mind's Eye.

The contrast between the yellow grunge shapes and the deep green paper is really pretty in person. I like that it's got a clean, simple look to it.

I used one of my 3 main colors of cardstock, this time green. On both sides of Dec 4th, I adhered more Tim Holtz grunge shapes. This side has a flourish, colored with Mustard Seed Distress Ink.

I cut a square of My Mind's Eye paper and distressed it with Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy.
